Hi guys,,

  • How can I connect DVD player & other components, through my Access 4, to create a multiple component home theatre system around a smart, ARC, HDMI, USB, Optical input TV.

This to be input served from various sources such as; portable hard-drives & other digital storage, DVD drives etc.

The critical requirement though, is audio output, as I am hearing impaired such that my volume requirements are too loud for others in the house. I am searching to find a way of using headphones to give me independant personal control separation, WITHOUT the cutting off or volume  control over-ride of normal audio control of the house speakers. These are a Bose HDMI connectable 700 Sounbdbar & Subwoofer combo , which I need to in parallel with 1, or preferably 2 independantly controlled bluetooth headphone sets, 1/ Soundcore Q20 & 2/ Sennheiser PXC550-11.

I have belatedly discovered that Bluetooth cannot handle sending video feed for input such as from DVD or hard- drives & so I am thinking of buying a USB hub to enable multiple connections to/through the Azulle to the TV, with audio output to the speaker combo & separately controlled headphones. I am considering a UGREEN, 8-in-1, USB type C port with 3 x USB 3 sockets, 4K, HDMI, Gigabit Ethernet, SD-TF card reader & 100 watt charging.

Please advise me Firstly, as to whether this "component/audio output" system is doable, AND, Secondly, if the "USB hub" multiple component input idea will work & thus if this Ugreen hub is suitable or you reccommend a different unit please.

Many thanks, Neville.
