Hi there! I have a Byte Plus, great device used for years to watch Netflix etc. on TV. I migrated to Linux Mint from Win10, no memory to upgrade system.
**Issue** on start up, it will not recognize the TV connected to HDMI beyond the first few seconds when the Azulle logo appears, but goes dark when the Lunix distro kicks in. I have the same mirror settings as on a laptop that does work flawlessly on the Samsung TV. Tested new cables, that did not work. Even tried the Lubuntu distro, same problem.

Any kind sould that may be using Linux and can shed light please do.

P.S.
Anyone done a RAM and SSD upgrade? I have the 2/32GB RAM/HD version and would like to upgrade with a known vendor's product.

Hello

It sounds like the Mint distribution you are using is having issues, the Byte Plus supports Ubuntu 16.04, we cannot comment on it's performance on other distributions, but if possible would suggest trying Ubuntu 16.04.

The Byte Plus' RAM and Storage are soldered on, they cannot be upgraded. Ideally external storage solutions should be used.

@support Thanks folks! I ended up setting the Byte+ on Linux Lite, it is working marvelously!
As for the RAM/HD, ok, will work with what I have.
Again, thanks!
